Ukrgazvydobuvannia removes seven projects from agreements on joint operation with Karpatygaz

Public joint-stock company Ukrgazvydobuvannia has removed seven investment programs on exploring, intensifying and launching wells from the agreements on joint operation with Karpatygaz LLC, the company's press service reported on Thursday.

The press service said that the changes will apply to Zaluzhanske, Tymofiyivske, Kulychykhynske and Shebelynske fields.

Karpatygaz did not fulfill its investment liabilities under the projects in full.

The press service said that according to amendment No. 7 to the agreement with Karpatygaz, Ukrgazvydobuvannia will develop the Zaluzhanske field and increase extraction at Shebelynske, Tymofiyivske and Kulychykhynske fields.

Ukrgazvydobuvannia will also conduct the additional exploration of deep horizons of Kobzivske, Zakhidno-Solokhivske, Komyshnianske and Krasnokutske gas condensate fields, Opishn i anske oil and gas condensate field, oil deposits of Zachepylivske oil and gas condensate field and exploration of the Shebelynske gas condensate field.

Oil at the Bytkiv-Babchenske oil and gas condensate field will be also extracted by Ukrgazvydobuvannia.

The above-mentioned investment projects will be included in the implementation plan for 2016-2017 and be funded using own funds of Ukrgazvydobuvannia.

Ukrgazvydobuvannia, 100% owned by Naftogaz Ukrainy, is the largest gas producing company in the country, providing about 75% of total gas production in Ukraine.

The company also operates the Shebelynka gas refinery.
