Oschadbank, taking into account the strategy of recovering Naftogaz Ukrainy, has extended the deadline for the company's repaying loans from March 31, 2015 until June 10, 2015, while the National Bank extended refinancing loans for Oschadbank for the same term, according to the state bank's audited consolidated annual reporting.

According to the report, as of late 2014 Naftogaz was issued three loans totaling UAH 15.104 billion, or 16% of Oschadbank's total loan portfolio.

One of them worth UAH 10.373 billion was issued at a rate of 13.5% per annum, while two others – at 17.5% per annum, all three with a maturity term in late March. The document states that the rate on two smaller loans at the end of 2013 was 10% per annum.

According to the report, loans to Oschadbank, excluding reserves for impairment (worth UAH 12.31 billion) were stipulated in NBU refinancing loans.

Oschadbank at the end of last year owned Naftogaz's bonds worth UAH 4.248 billion, acquired in 2013.

The state bank notes that the NBU refinancing volume, whose repayment was also postponed until June 10, 2015, as of the end of 2014 amounted to UAH 17.582 billion.
