Kyivstar sees 42% fall in net profit in 2014

Joint-stock company Kyivstar posted a 42% fall in its net profit in 2014 from a year ago, to UAH 2.195 billion, according to the a report on the holding of a general meeting of the company's shareholders scheduled for April 29.

According to the document, the operator's assets reached UAH 13.513 billion as of December 31, 2014, which is 17.8% up year-over-year.

Total bills receivable almost did not change, being UAH 1.384 billion, while undistributed profit fell by 8.3%, to UAH 7.597 billion.

Net worth totals UAH 8.452 billion and charter capital is UAH 887.1 million.

The agenda of the meeting includes the issue of distributing the company's profit for 2014.

As reported, the net consolidated revenue of Vimpelcom Ltd.'s assets in Ukraine – joint-stock company Kyivstar and Golden Telecom LLC, the latter of which was shut down as a part of a merger of the assets of Vimpelcom Ltd. – fell by 5% in 2014, to UAH 12.231 billion.
