Acting Ukrzaliznytsia head dismisses top managers of Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways

Acting Head of the State Railway Administration of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) Maksym Blank has dismissed the top managers of Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways (Kyiv), according to a post on the Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways website on Friday.

According to the copies of the orders signed by Blank Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways, which have been posted on its website, under order No. 248OS of March 19, 2015 First Deputy Head of Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways Ivan Fedorko was dismissed, under order No. 251OS Chief Internal Auditor For Train Movement and Traffic Safety at Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways Viktor Dziunyk was dismissed, and under order No. 250OS Chief Engineer of Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways Voldoymyr Osovik was dismissed.

Under order No. 254OS Deputy Head for Rolling Stock and Logistics of Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways Ivan Antoniuk was dismissed, under order No. 252OS Director for Finances and Economy of Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways Serhiy Horylei was dismissed, under order No. 253OS Head of the Financial and Economic service Iryna Vasyliuk was dismissed, and under order No. 249OS Director for Construction Oleksandr Pohrebny was dismissed.

As reported, on March 4 the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers decided to suspend Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways Chief Oleksiy Kryvopishyn from his duties and to request law enforcement agencies to launch criminal proceedings against Kryvopishyn. Blank said that the Kryvopishyn was hindering the investigation of Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways, which Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways denied.

On March 16, Blank said that unknown persons in the office of Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways state enterprise were preventing acting head of Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways Volodymyr Tiahulsky from working. Blank added that he sent a letter to the Prosecutor General's Office.
