Public joint-stock company Bashtanka cheese factory (Mykolaiv region), a large Ukrainian dairy processing company that is part of Milk Alliance, saw UAH 28.788 million in net profit, which is 1.9 times up from a year ago.

The company said in a report in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market of Ukraine, its assets last year grew to UAH 345.938 million from UAH 220.031 million in 2013.

Undistributed profit totaled UAH 160.884 million last year (UAH 132.096 million in 2013).

Total bills receivable soared by 1.8 times, to UAH 182.01 million.

Milk Alliance also unites the Pyriatyn cheese factory, the Yahotyn butter factory, the Horodenka, Trostianets, Novoarkhanhelsk and Zgurivka cheese factories, the Zolotonosha butter factory, Varvamaslosyrzavod and Etalonmolproduct, and the Etalon trade house sales companies.

The holding enterprises produce dairy products under the Pyriatyn, Slaviya, Zdorovo, Yahotynske, Yahotynske dlia Ditei, Zdorovo! and Zlato Krai brands.
