PJSC Ukrtransgaz in the period from January 1 to January 25, 2015 had taken 1.808 billion cubic meters of gas from underground gas storage facilities (UGS), which is 17.4% less than in the same period in 2014 and 32.7% less than in the same period of 2013.

According to the press service of PJSC Ukrtransgaz, as of January 25 the company's UGS contained 9.653 billion cubic meters of natural gas. All UGS are working as normal.

On January 25 the largest daily gas taking was fixed in the amount of 31.3 million cubic meters from Bilche-Volytsko-Uherske storage, which by its design characteristics is one of the most powerful in Europe.

Ukraine has 13 UGS with a total capacity of more than 31.95 billion cubic meters.

Ukrtransgaz operates 12 UGS and a system of trunk gas pipelines (30.95 billion cubic meters).
