The Ukrainian government proposes in 2015 sending to local budgets of up to 5% of revenues from excise tax, Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak has said at a cabinet meeting in Kyiv.

"Up to 5% - every local community will decide itself how much it needs for balance: 1%, 2%, 3%, or 4%," he said.

As reported, excise tax is levied for the sale of petroleum products, motor vehicles, alcohol and other products.
