Oil transit through Ukraine to Europe in January-June 2014 decreased by 0.5% compared to the same period in 2013, to 7.429 million tonnes.

According to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, in June oil transit through Ukraine fell by 15% compared to May 2013, to 1.069 million tonnes.

As reported, oil transit to Europe via Ukraine in 2013 increased by 7% compared to 2012, to 15.577 million tonnes.

Oil imports to Ukraine in 2013 plunged by 2.3 times, to 659,100 tonnes, and supplies of crude oil to Ukrainian oil refineries were down by 18.5%, to 3.271 million tonnes.
