Ukraine's State veterinary service bans imports of poultry from Hebei province in China

The State Veterinary and Biosecurity Service of Ukraine has introduced a ban on imports of poultry and products made of it from the Chinese province of Hebei due an outbreak of avian influenza, the press service of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine reported.

The press service of the ministry received the information from the chief state veterinary inspector.

In addition, imports of poultry and products made of it are banned from Turkey due to registered cases of Newcastle disease, and pork from Benin where African Swine Fever has been recorded.

The State Veterinary and Biosecurity Service lifted a ban on imports of poultry from Croatia, Finland, Switzerland and sheep from Turkey, Belgium and Switzerland.
