Ukraine imported 25.7 billion cubic meters of Russian gas in January-November 2013, 15.5% less than in the same period of last year, pipeline operator Ukrtransgaz said.

National oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy and Dmytro Firtash's Ostchem have imported gas in recent years.

Ukraine imported 32.9 billion cubic meters of gas in 2012. The government has confirmed a plan of natural gas supplies and distribution for this year that sets imports at 27.3 billion cubic meters.
