Ukrainian High-Speed Railway Company refreshes tariffs for Intercity+ first class trains

Ukrainian Railways High-Speed Company from April 25, 2013 introduced a renewed flexible tariff system in first class wagons of Intercity+ trains for purchasing travel documents beforehand.

As the press service of State Railway Administration Ukrzaliznytsia reported, the preliminary ticket sale for Intercity+ first class trains foresees a discount for tickets depending on the term the ticket was bought (44-45 days before the departure of the train).

"We also draw the attention of the passengers to the fact that the terms to buy travel documents with discounts have changed," reads a press release from the administration.

Passenger can now pay 15% less for a reserved seat if it is bought 44-45 days before the departure of the train; and 10% less for a reserved seat paid for 30-43 days in advance. The cost of the ticket bought 15-29 days before travel remains unchanged.

However, the passenger will have to pay an extra 5% for a reserved seat bought 5-14 days in advance; an extra 10% for a reserved seat if it is paid for 3-4 days in advance; and 15% more for a reserved seat paid for 1-2 days before the departure of the train.

Besides, there is 10% discount if purchasing return tickets.

As reported, the Ukrainian High-Speed Railway Company has obtained the right to set tariffs for passenger transportation in first class wagons of Intercity+ trains made by South Korea's Hyundai Rotem until December 31, 2013.
