Former Kyiv mayor creates Chernovetskyi Investment Group

Former Kyiv mayor Leonid Chernovetsky has launched a new personal project – the Chernovetskyi Investment Group (CIG): an eponymous limited liability company was registered in Kyiv on January 10, 2013, says information in the state register.

"As the personal project of Chernovetsky, CIG investment company has a large investment potential exceeding $750 million," reads a posting on the company's Web site.

Andriy Kryvorchuk heads the company. Earlier he was head of Commercial Systems LLC registered at the same address – in the same building in Kyiv in Klovska Street where Pravex-Bank, which earlier belonged to Chernovetsky, is located.

"Both as in the case with Pravex-Bank, which in its days went from a business idea to a business project of the first rank in the national banking system, Chernovetsky plays a key role in Chernovetskyi Investment Group, where he acts as a creator and key figure in its management vertical," reads the posting on the CIG's Web site.

According to the report, the company's investment interest is focused on innovation technologies in the IT and Internet sector, as well as production of goods and services. CIG is ready to enter projects at various stages, starting from the start-up, putting forward the condition of having the potential for expansion and high margins.
