Today, there will be no traditional daily review of the military-political situation by the Information Defence analysts. And not because we are not able to prepare it. No, we even started our daily work, which, despite the war, has already become a routine.

But having “burrowed” as always into the information flows, we have realised - all our thoughts are in Bucha, all our conversations turn to shocking photos of dead Ukrainians, to raped women who were later killed, to issues that have become commonplace – can this really happen in the twenty first century, are our neighbours inhuman and cannibals who have no morals, no conscience, and no basic human principles?

As we have come to understand, they do not have this fundamental reason that drives human dignity and decency, for as we have seen, such a terrible horror that is now unfolding is possible in the present day.

This is about russia. About the country, the name of which we, Ukrainians, undoubtedly, began to write in lower case.

russia kills and then lies. russia lies and then kills. The more lies, the more deaths.

We will not ask questions to the russians.

HOW MANY MORE DEATHS OF UKRAINIANS DO YOU NEED TO HEAR US?

They will not hear this question because they do not want to hear it. They will not answer this question because they claim they have nothing to answer.

All of us are shocked by the standard reaction of the vast majority of the representatives of the “collective” West. With words of sympathy we feel their reluctance to hear us.

We do not want to hear once again about deep concerns and calls to develop another package of sanctions, but which will not, God knows, harm the national security of their country and will not threaten the wellbeing of their citizens.

After all, turning on the tap at home and lowering the temperature by 2 degrees is almost a feat for the average, domesticated consumer of today’s industrialised world.

Just do not talk about this to a small child who has been freezing for several weeks in the basements of Mariupol, do not tell this to pregnant women who gave birth during missile strikes, do not tell this to the families of ordinary soldiers who fought to the death defending their homes. Thousands of people killed and wounded.

HOW MANY MORE DEATHS OF UKRAINIANS DO YOU NEED TO HEAR US?

Not all Western leaders are complete pragmatists and cynics. The President of Poland Andrzej Duda has said that Ukraine needs weapons. He has repeated this on several occasions.

We hope that the President of Poland has been absolutely sincere and according to the bilateral agreements with Ukraine (without involving NATO in this matter), Poland will give us MiG-29 fighters, which we need at the front line of the war.

Yes, in principle, our appeal is not to the leaders of Western countries, but to their voters. We appeal to you to force your elected officials to help Ukraine.

We do not need  words, but we need your actions - tanks, planes, anti-aircraft missile systems, grenade launchers, modern drones, and other weapons that our brave warriors so desperately need.

We, Ukrainians, do not need to answer the questions we asked the russian fascist invaders and our allies.

We have answered this question - both at the front and in the rear. Each of us has given an answer individually, and all of us, Ukrainians, gave an answer.

We say ‘yes’ to the international tribunal – yes, we say ‘yes’ to the court! But we know how long these lawsuits take. We are well aware that russia will not extradite these criminals under any circumstances, no matter how “visually concrete” the evidence of their guilt.

But I am convinced that the life of these freaks, murderers, and rapists will not be long. Period.

KILLERS WILL BE SENTENCED BY THE PENALTY THEY DESERVE

I apologise for this emotional and somewhat long introduction, but it was a collective decision of our project experts to place today’s update in these terms. We could not publish standard analytics when the darkness of the Middle Ages was approaching our windows.

We could not bring ourselves to fulfill our routine professional duties in normal circumstances while the enormity of these crimes was being even more painfully exposed. Below is a daily review, which is devoted to one, but mercilessly painful topic - the genocide of the Ukrainian people, the mass murder of peaceful Ukrainians, “Bucha’s massacre”.

On April 1st, Bucha Mayor Anatolii Fedoruk announced the liberation of the city from the russian occupiers. After that, information was opened about the atrocities committed by the russian military in the occupied city. In particular, Mayor Anatolii Fedoruk said that a mass grave had been found in the city, where almost 300 people were buried, and dozens of corpses lay in the streets, some of them with their hands tied.

According to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova, as of the evening of April 3rd, 410 bodies of civilians killed by the invaders were removed from the liberated territory of the Kyiv region (Bucha, Irpin, Borodianka). The worst situation with regard to human casualties of the russian occupiers in the Kyiv region is in Borodianka.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Bucha, where evidence of mass killings of Ukrainian civilians by russians was found.

The mass grave was dug at least by March 10th.

Pictures of the mass grave in Bucha, dug on the territory of the Church of St. Andrew, have been published today. Satellite images from the American company Maxar Technologies demonstrate a trench of 45 feet (13.7 m).

The company Maxar Technologies has stated that the first signs of excavation of the mass grave were noticed on March 10th.

The reaction of the international community to the massacre of Ukrainians in Bucha.

The UN Security Council will not hold a meeting on April 4th at the request of russia, which demanded to discuss “the outrageous provocation of Ukrainian radicals in Bucha.” A meeting of the Security Council on the massacre of Ukrainian civilians will be held on April 5th according to the request of Ukraine.

The US President Joe Biden called russian president putin a barbarian and said that all evidence of russian atrocities should be gathered to punish russia for this war crime.

The European Union has accused the russian authorities of committing atrocities in the already liberated territories of the Kyiv region, which were previously under the control of russian forces. This is stated in a statement by EU Minister of Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell on Monday, made on behalf of the entire European Union.

The statement said that the EU strongly condemned the atrocities committed by the russian armed forces in a number of occupied Ukrainian cities that have now been liberated.

The UK MI6 intelligence chief Richard Moore said extrajudicial executions were part of putin's plans to invade Ukraine: “We knew Putin’s invasion plans included summary executions by his military and intelligence services. The reports of execution-style killings of civilians emerging from liberated areas are horrifying and chilling.”

Richard Moore responded to a statement by the UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss condemning the massacre of civilians in liberated towns and villages in the Kyiv region, saying “we must bring to justice those responsible for the horrific actions of russian troops in Bucha, Irpin and elsewhere in Ukraine. The putin regime will not be allowed to hide its involvement in these atrocities.”

The UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss also said that the allies should agree on a new powerful wave of sanctions against russia after the world received information about the crimes of russian troops in the cities that were occupied.

The President of Poland Andrzej Duda said that Ukraine needed three things: weapons, weapons and again weapons: “criminals must be called criminals, prosecuted and convicted. In fact, the defenders of Ukraine need three things in the first place: weapons, weapons, and again weapons.”

Germany is a major obstacle to tougher sanctions against russia, said Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Luigi Di Mayo said that following the atrocities in Bucha, Italy would support sanctions against russian gas.

Austrian authorities support new sanctions against russia after exposing military atrocities in Bucha, but reject an immediate embargo on russian energy.

russia cynically lies about the non-involvement of the russian occupiers in the shooting of civilians and the genocide of the Ukrainian people.

Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov and Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov, despite photos and videos of the russian occupiers’ atrocities in Bucha near Kyiv, continue to call the genocide of Ukrainians a “staging” and a “fake attack.”

The Ambassador of the russian federation to the United States Anatoly Antonov said that “the United States deliberately conceal the fact that immediately after the withdrawal of russian troops, the Armed Forces of Ukraine started artillery shelling in Bucha and this led to the death of civilians”.

Antonov said that “it is obvious” that “the Kyiv regime is trying to shift the blame for all its crimes to russia” and that reports of killings of civilians in Bucha are “false accusations” that “have already been completely refuted by the russian Ministry of Defence.”
