Daily Humanity launches drone detector rental library in Ukraine
The Drone Detector Rental Library has been launched in Ukraine, providing verified personnel with free access to 50 Tsukorok drone detectors for use while carrying out professional duties in the field.
According to Daily Humanity Foundation Executive Director and board member Kateryna Serhatskova, "the detectors available for rent are personal devices needed not only by every serviceman, but also by those working on the front line: journalists, humanitarian workers and critical infrastructure staff operating in high-risk areas."
"The detectors work by monitoring the radio spectrum and automatically scanning for signals from enemy drones," she said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.
"Third-generation Tsukorok detectors will be available through the Drone Detector Rental Library. They not only detect all major Russian drones, but can also identify MAVKA quadcopters," a representative of Drone Spises Yulia Vodolaska said.
Drone Spises is the developer and manufacturer of the drone detectors.
The free rental process is handled automatically through the Daily Humanity Foundation website. An operations team in Kyiv manages logistics, inventory, maintenance and user support.
