Interfax-Ukraine to host press conference 'Why NBU Leadership is Threatening Lawmakers and Bankers with Criminal Cases in Response to Valid Criticism'

On Monday, October 17, at 15.00, the Interfax-Ukraine News Agency's press center will host a joint press conference by MP Serhiy Taruta and President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks Oleksandr Suhoniako entitled "Why NBU Leadership is Threatening Lawmakers and Bankers with Criminal Cases in Response to Valid Criticism." At the press conference Taruta will comment on his initiative to set up a temporary investigative commission in parliament to probe the activities of National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Governor Valeriya Gontareva, while Oleksandr Suhoniako will present evidence of inefficient and unprofessional activities of the NBU under Gontareva's governance (8/5a Reitarska Street).
