Interfax-Ukraine to host press conference by family members and lawyers of suspects in riots on Bankova Street on December 1

Today, on December 4, at 13.00, the press center of the Interfax-Ukraine news agency will host a press conference, which will be attended by family members and lawyers of people arrested under a court ruling on charges of crimes allegedly committed by them during a peaceful assembly on December 1, 2013. The suspects face from five to seven years in prison. Participants include Maryna Ostaschenko, the wife of detainee Oleksandr Ostaschenko, Lera Ostaschenko, a five-year-old daughter of detainee Oleksandr Ostaschenko, Nina Bolotova, the wife of detainee Yuriy Bolotov, Mykyta Bolotov, a minor son of detainee Yuriy Bolotov, Kristina Previr, a sister of detainee Yehor Previr, Svitlana Previr, the mother of detainee Yehor Previr, an expert from the Association of Ukrainian Human Rights Monitors on Law Enforcement, and Dmytro Makarov, the coordinator of the joint group on public control over the actions of law enforcement agencies (Russia) (8/5a Reitarska Street).
