Parliamentary investigation commission to check lawfulness of SBU's actions towards Naftogaz

The Verkhovna Rada has set up an investigation commission to check compliance with law of the Ukrainian Security Service's actions as regards the national JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy and the gas pipeline network.

The proposal was supported by 391 MPs out of 441 registered for voting in the parliament's session hall on Thursday.

Our Ukraine - People's Self Defense faction member Roman Zvarych will head the commission, and Party of Regions faction member Hryhoriy Illiashov will be his deputy.

The commission will work for three months and make its first report in no less than 30 days from the date of its formation.
