Naftogaz says there will be no problems with payments for gas supplied by Gazprom in February

National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy has said that there will no problems with payments for gas consumed by Ukraine in February 2009, the head of the company's press service, Valentyn Zemliansky, has said.

"We accumulated funds, we have an understanding with Gazprom, and the gas volumes have been determined. Therefore, I think there will be no problems with payments for gas consumed in February," he said.

Zemliansky said that there were no grounds for Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) agents to seize the office of Naftogaz Ukrainy on Wednesday.

"There were no grounds today to use any force to break into the building or conduct any investigation," he said.
