Ukrainian president to attend draw for Euro 2012 finals
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will take part in the draw ceremony for the final stages of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship on Friday, December 2, the presidential press service reported.
The ceremony will take place in the Ukraina Palace in Kyiv at 1900 on Friday.
Sixteen teams will be drawn into four groups of four teams each (Groups A to D). Four seeding pots will be created. Euro 2012 co-host Poland will be automatically placed in Group A, Ukraine in Group D.
Spain and Netherlands are in Pot One alongside Poland and Ukraine.
Pot Two consists of Germany, Italy, England and Russia.
Croatia, Greece, Portugal, Sweden will be placed in Pot Three.
Pot Four will include Denmark, France, the Czech Republic, and the Republic of Ireland
