Tymoshenko's condition worsening, not getting medical aid, says defense lawyer

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko's state of health is worsening, and she hasn't been getting medical assistance since Monday, the ex-premier's defense counsel Serhiy Vlasenko has said.

"Tymoshenko's condition has worsened, despite the statements by [Ukrainian President Viktor] Yanukovych that she allegedly received medical treatment... Tymoshenko has new symptoms. She occasionally feels dizzy, she has nose bleeds, and she has numbness in her left arm," he told reporters at a briefing near Lukyanivka jail in Kyiv on Tuesday.
