Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has chosen to arrest Head of the State Employment Service of Ukraine Volodymyr Halytsky as a measure of restraint.

The court issued a ruling on Monday after considering a motion lodged by the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine to choose arrest as the measure of restraint for Halytsky.

"The court ruled to satisfy the motion of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine and choose arrest as the measure of restraint for Halytsky," reads the court's ruling, which was announced on Monday.

The ruling can be appealed against in a court of appeals within three days.
