The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Indian government have signed an agreement on the cancellation of visa requirements for people holding diplomatic passports.
The agreement was signed on Friday following talks between the foreign ministers of Ukraine and India, Kostiantyn Hryschenko and Somanahalli Mallaiah Krishna, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service reported.
The two ministers also agreed on holding Days of India in Ukraine and Days of Ukraine in India next year.
Hryschenko invited Krishna to visit Ukraine at any convenient time, and the latter accepted the invitation.
With the aim of deepening the economic cooperation, the two ministers agreed to hold a meeting of the Ukrainian-Indian intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical, industrial and cultural cooperation and the committee on scientific and technical cooperation in 2012.
