Ukrainian, Russian energy ministers satisfied with constructive bilateral talks

Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Boiko and Russian Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko discussed at a meeting in Moscow on Thursday a number of promising projects of cooperation between the two countries, the Ukrainian Ministry's press service reported.

According to the press service, the ministers discussed both the current projects and the projects to be implemented in the future.

"As an outcome of the meeting the parties noted positive and constructive changes in the talks in the energy sector between the two countries," the press service said.

On November 10, Boiko said that Ukraine and Russia started the technical adjustment and implementation of agreements reached by the two countries' presidents in Zavidovo (Russia) on September 24 on the settlement of disputes between the parties on gas issues.
