A Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry plane has carried out a second flight to deliver a humanitarian cargo to the quake-hit Turkish province of Van, the ministry's press service has reported.
The plane returned from the province of Van to Ukraine late on Tuesday. It brought to Turkey the inflatable-framed shelter modules with independent heating and electricity systems to accommodate earthquake victims, which can also be used for conducting surgical operations.
The press service noted that this was the second flight to deliver additional humanitarian aid to Turkey.
According to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, the Turkish party expressed gratitude to Ukraine, which is the first state to provide the necessary assistance.
