AMC allows to merge Belorusneft-Ukraine and BNK-Ukraine

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMC) has allowed to merge Belorusneft-Ukraine (Chernihiv) and BNK-Ukraine (Kyiv), the AMC’s press service has said. In addition, the AMC allowed Belorusneft (Belarus) to concentrate more than 25% in BNK-Ukraine. As reported, the Belarusian Oil Company (BNK) in March 2010 opened its own sales company BNK-Ukraine (100% belonged to the Belarusian Oil Company) in Ukraine to sell fuel. The Belarusian Oil Company was established in May 2007. Its shareholders are OJSC Mozyr Oil Refinery and Naftan (Belarus). Belorusneft on June 25, 2010 registered its subsidiary Belorusneft-Ukraine in Ukraine to increase the export of fuel produced by Belarusian oil refineries. It deals with fuel wholesale and retail sale.
