MPs proposing to introduce cash payments to Russian military for equipment suitable use by AFU

A group of members of parliament from different factions has proposes to provide cash payments to the Russian military for serviceable military equipment of the Russian Federation transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Bill No. 7229 was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on March 30.

The document proposes to establish remuneration for military personnel of the armed forces, other power structures of Russia, and other categories of persons for the military equipment of the aggressor state, suitable for use and voluntarily transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For example, a combat aircraft (fighter and attack aircraft) would be worth $1 million, combat helicopter - $500,000 and a multiple launch rocket system - $25,000-35,000.

The bill provides the right to keep the fact of the transfer of Russian equipment to the AFU secret.
