US senators ask Biden administration to accelerate supply of aid to Ukraine
A group of U.S. senators asks to accelerate the supply of military assistance to Ukraine and report on the amount of weapons transferred to Kyiv from February 24, The Hill reports.
"America’s commitments to Ukraine and to our NATO allies demand we expedite the delivery of weapons and capabilities to our allies and partners," the publication quotes a letter from senators to U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
A bipartisan group of senators is also asking for details of the military aid the U.S. and allied countries sent to Ukraine on Feb. 24.
The letter was signed by 25 senators from two parties.
Meanwhile, representative of the National Security Council of the White House, Emily Horne, told the publication that the supply of assistance to Ukraine is made daily.
