AFU reports 17,300 KIA Russian soldiers since Feb 24

The loss of personnel in the ranks of the Russian invaders from February 24 to the present day total about 17,300 people, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.

"The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24 to March 30 were approximately: personnel - about 17,300 people, tanks - 605, armored fighting vehicles – 1,723, artillery systems - 305, rocket launchers - 96, air defense systems - 54, aircraft - 131, helicopters - 131, automotive equipment – 1,184, ships/boats - 7, tanks with fuel and lubricants - 75, UAVs of the operational-tactical level - 81, special equipment - 21, long-range rocket launchers - 4," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Wednesday.

The General Staff noted enemy losses are constantly being tabulated.

"Counting their losses is complicated by the high intensity of hostilities," the General Staff said.
