Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) is prolonging the suspension of flights due to the extension of the airspace closure for civilian airspace users.
According to a report of the airline on Friday, such measures are taken to minimize any risks to the safety of passengers according to the official NOTAM of the State Aviation Service.
Accordingly, UIA will not operate scheduled and charter flights from/to Ukraine until 23:59 March 23, 2022 Kyiv time.
Earlier, the airline made a similar decision on February 24-27 due to the closure of Ukrainian airspace for civilian airspace users.
UIA emphasizes that it maintains and will continue to maintain contact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, and other authorized state authorities.
