The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine announces the receipt of humanitarian aid from Germany, China and France.
"Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Maryna Lazebna said that as a result of a change in the procedure for recognizing cargo as humanitarian aid, it began to arrive in a fundamentally shorter time. Only in the last few days, humanitarian aid has been received to meet the urgent needs of people in food, clothing, first aid supplies and others," the ministry's press service said in a statement.
Thus, more than 20 tonnes of humanitarian aid came to Volodymyr-Volynsky from Germany, 5 tonnes to Lviv, about 9 tonnes to Uman from China, more than 13 tonnes to Zaporizhia from France, and 5 tonnes to Berdychiv from Germany.
In addition, in the coming days, several thousand tonnes of goods necessary for territorial defense will also arrive on the territory of Ukraine: bulletproof vests, walkie-talkies, helmets, tents, blankets, mats, sleeping bags, blankets, dry toilets, and rubber gloves.
"All the needs of people are collected and transferred to the program's headquarters by the social protection departments. At the headquarters level, it is necessary to immediately coordinate with the capabilities of donors, philanthropists and volunteers," the statement says.
