MP Hennadiy Moskal of the Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense, who previously headed the Crimean police, said that Interior Minister Anatoliy Mohyliov might be appointed Crimean premier.
"Mohyliov and Dzharty are from one team. Dzharty put people from Makiyivka in all the posts... And but for Mohyliov, no one will be able to preserve the Makiyivka team," Moskal told Fokus.ua when asked who may head of the Council of Ministers of Crimea after the death of Vasyl Dzharty.
The final decision will be taken by President Viktor Yanukovych, Moskal said.
"The president will decide whether he needs to preserve the Makiyivka team or appoint an effective manager, which Mohyliov is not," Moskal concluded.
As reported earlier, Crimean Prime Minister Dzharty died in Crimea in the early hours of Wednesday as a result of a serious illness.
