Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has again rejected a petition for the release of former prime minister and leader of the Batkivschyna party Yulia Tymoshenko on bail.
This was the seventh motion to change the measure of restraint on Tymoshenko, who was taken into custody on August 5. All of the previous pleas were turned down.
While giving their reasoning, Judge Rodion Kireyev, who is presiding over Tymoshenko's trial, said that the court hadn't established that there was any reason to change the measure of restraint.
