Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn has said that the next session of the Verkhovna Rada will begin with consideration of the issue of amending the Tax Code in terms of the tax system.
"I hope that the first issue we will consider at the next session will be amendments to the Tax Code in terms of simplified system of taxation," the speaker said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.
Lytvyn noted that the bill had been already prepared for consideration, however its consideration had been artificially hindered.
"I will say openly that its consideration is being artificially hindered. Because Ukraine has relevant obligations, has relevant cooperation and needs to retain the budget and not to lose revenues to the state budget," Lytvyn said.
The ninth session of the Verkhovna Rada will start on September 6, 2011.
