Presidential secretariat considers PM's report "theatrical performance"

According to the Head of the Presidential Secretariat of Ukraine Viktor Baloha, the report of Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko "passes all requirements to be considered a theatrical performance with fantasy elements".

This was reported Thursday by the secretariat's press service.

"The PM's report... passes all requirements to be considered a theatrical performance with fantasy elements. From the theses and arguments of the prime minister, Ukraine acquires the image of a fairy tale state, where all the good things are done by a magical fairy and all suffering is caused by evil people," Baloha stated.

Baloha said that the majority of the economic points in the prime minister's report were based on "manipulations with causes and consequences". Apart from that, he said that Tymoshenko "omitted to answer any questions that she considered uncomfortable, retreating to obvious lies and bad jokes".

As it was reported, during Tymoshenko's speech on Thursday a fight broke out between MPs from the BYT and Regions Party. Regions Party MPs blocked the tribune, protesting against the fact that mostly deputies from OU-PSD and BYT were registered to put questions to the prime minister. The parliament's speaker, Volodymyr Lytvyn, urged everyone to calm down and take their places for a repeated register procedure, a move that was supported by the majority of MPs.
