Criminal case opened into threats against MP Bohoslovska, report police
The investigation unit of the Shevchenkivsky district police department has opened a criminal case into the death threats against MP Inna Bohoslovska of the Party of Regions, who leads an ad hoc commission at the Ukrainian parliament holding an inquiry into the circumstances of signing gas agreements in 2009.
The criminal proceedings were launched into the fact of death threats (part 1 of Article 129 of the Criminal Code, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's public relations department said on Saturday.
According to the report, Bohoslovska applied to police with a statement about receiving death threats on June 25, 2011.
She said that she received death threats in her address on June 24, which were also posted on the Internet.
