Trial of Tymoshenko case 'inhumane' - Teixeira

EU Ambassador to Ukraine Jose Manuel Pinto Teixeira has called "inhumane" the conditions in which the trial of the case involving former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is being held.

An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported that Teixeira was wet from sweat when he walked out of the courtroom.

According to earlier reports, Teixeira has arrived at the Pechersky District Court, where the trial of the Tymoshenko case began at 09:00 a.m. Kyiv time. Teixeira was accompanied by Deputy Ambassador at the German Embassy in Ukraine Anka Feldhusen.
