UEFA signs contracts worth EUR 13 m in Ukraine under corporate hospitality program, says Lubkivsky

UEFA has signed contracts worth EUR 13 million under the corporate hospitality program, Director of Euro 2012 in Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivsky has said.

"Our goal is to put sales at EUR 100 million in both countries. Of these, EUR 39 million falls on Ukraine, and we have already signed contracts worth one third of this sum," he said at a press conference in Lviv on Thursday.

According to Lubkivsky, Ukraine is coming to a peak of sales under this program, and a presentation will be held in Lviv on Thursday evening.

Answering a question from reporters, the Euro 2012 Director in Ukraine said that a total of 60,000 seats for all matches of Euro 2012 Championship were assigned for the corporate hospitality program. "These packages are being bought by Ukrainian businessmen in Lviv as well as in Kharkiv and Kyiv. The seats in skyboxes in Lviv are also purchased by foreigners," Lubkivsky said.

According to him, the price of these services varies from EUR 2,900 to EUR 23,900, depending on the number of included games. The program is being organized by UEFA Events S.A., a subsidiary of UEFA.
