Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has signed a decree on declassifying, publishing and studying of archival documents on Ukrainian liberation movement, political repressions and famines.
"The decree is aimed at restoration of national memory, promotion of national reconciliation and mutual understanding, detailed and unbiased study of Ukrainian history of XX century, in particular, events concerning Ukrainian liberation movement, political repressions and famines," the presidential press service reported.
