An early plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada is to be held at 1000 on Monday, January 26, the Verkhovna Rada press service reported on Friday.
According to the press service, an initiative of 155 MPs has been registered in parliament, under the requirements of the second part of Article 83 of the Constitution of Ukraine on holding an early plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada.
A conciliatory council's session will be held at 0900 on the same day.
Ukrainian Prime Minister and BYT Leader Yulia Tymoshenko reported at a press conference on Wednesday that she had addressed the BYT parliamentary faction with a request to initiate an early Verkhovna Rada on the situation at the National Bank of Ukraine.
