A meeting of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council dedicated to gas issues will take place next Friday, January 30, first deputy head of the Ukrainian presidential secretariat, president's representative in the government Oleksandr Shlapak said.
"The president insisted that the government report on how, having taken responsibility for signing such [gas] contracts, it organizes the energy and gas balance of our country at the next meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, which I hope will take place next Friday," Shlapak told a news conference in Kyiv on Friday.
