The deepening of cooperation with the United States remains the priority of Ukraine's foreign policies, Ukrainian first deputy foreign minister Volodymyr Khandohiy has said.
"The United States is Ukraine's strategic partner and the deepening of cooperation with this country is among the priorities of our state's foreign policies," the deputy foreign minister said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.
According to Khandohiy, the Ukrainian-U.S. relations are not aimed against any state, which is clearly stated in the roadmap of the Ukrainian-U.S. relations and in the charter on strategic partnership between the two countries.
"We are sure that our relations on a wide range of issues will be further developing and deepening. We hope that the United States will continue supporting Ukraine's aspirations to join the European Union and NATO.
