The Kyiv appeal administrative court has thrown out an appeal of the Ukrainian president and left in force a ruling of the Kyiv district administrative court canceling a presidential order appointing Tyberiy Durdynets as a deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the first deputy head of the parliamentary committee for providing of law enforcement actions, Hennadiy Moskal, has told the Interfax-Ukraine.
"The president submitted an appeal over the decision of the Kyiv district administrative court, as it declared the presidential order on appointment of Tyberiy Durdynets as a SBU deputy head and chief of the main department for fighting corruption and organized crime illegal, and canceled the respective order. The president challenged this decision in the appeal administrative court, and today the court threw out his appeal," he said.
According to Moskal, the court's ruling came into force on Thursday.
