Russian company Gazprom Sbyt Ukraine will not be operating on the Ukrainian market, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has said.
There will be no such company in Ukraine," she said on the 5th TV Channel on Wednesday night.
"The national JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy will be selling gas directly to all its customers," the premier added.
When asked whether Gazprom Sbyt Ukraine will not sell gas directly to Ukrainian customers, Tymoshenko stressed "No." "We will make Naftogaz Ukrainy a monopoly on the Ukrainian market, there won't be anything which prevents it from trading,' she said.
