The gas supply contracts for 2009-2019 signed between Naftogaz Ukrainy and Gazprom foresee that the amount of gas will be agreed every year to ensure Ukraine is fully provided with gas, the first deputy head of the Ukrainian gas company, Oleh Didenko, said at a press conference on Wednesday.
"The gas supply contract foresees annual discussion of the amount of gas, with the aim of ensuring full volumes are available for domestic consumption in Ukraine," he said.
"Russia also guarantees to transit gas in amounts no less than agreed in the contract," Didenko said.
