Tymoshenko promises to be quick with materials of her case and prove its absurdity

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister, Leader of the Batkivschyna Party Yulia Tymoshenko has promised to examine the materials of a criminal case against her on the misuse of funds allocated under the Kyoto Protocol as quickly as possible and demonstrate its absurdity.

"I will regularly come to this building, which used to be the Prosecutor General's Office, give all the necessary evidence, all analyses they need. I will do everything possible to prove that this case is absurdity. I will study the case very quickly," she told reporters before entering the Main Investigatory Department of the Prosecutor General's Office in Kyiv on Wednesday.

Tymoshenko also said that the case on the payment of pensions should be sent to court, so that Ukraine and the whole world could see its absurdity. "I want them [the law enforcement agencies] to send the case on pensions to court, so that one more absurdity could become obvious both to the country and to the world, and the country and the world could see how judges put the politician behind bars for payment of pensions," she added.
