Ukraine's ex-interior minister to remain in custody

A court of appeals in Kyiv has not granted ex-interior minister Yuriy Lutsenko's complaint against the court ruling to replace the travel restrictions, earlier imposed on him, with detention.

The court announced its decision in Lutsenko's presence on Wednesday.

"There are no reasons for annulling the ruling, passed by the court of first instance," the judge said.
