Prosecutors again summon Tymoshenko for questioning
Batkivschyna Party leader and former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko was again summoned to the Prosecutor General's Office for questioning at 1200 on January 5, the politician's press service has reported.
Tymoshenko last visited the main investigation department of the Prosecutor General's Office on December 31, while on December 30 she spent about 11 hours there.
On December 30, the Prosecutor General's Office completed the investigation in a criminal case on charges brought against Tymoshenko. She was charged with committing a crime envisaged by Part 3, Article 365 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (the abuse of power or office, which entailed grave consequences).
Tymoshenko is charged with misusing EUR 380 million received by Ukraine under the Kyoto Protocol, as well as other damages caused to the state.
