Ukraine's Foreign Ministry said Russia's "gas attack" was aimed at upsetting stability in Ukraine and destroying its gas transportation system.
"The pre-planned nature of Russia's gas attack aimed at destabilizing the situation in Ukraine and destroying its gas transportation system is a vivid example of such pressure. Even after the failure of those plans in relation to the 'strategic partner' and of attempts to set European partners against Ukraine, the Russian authorities have not been able to cut the information attack against Ukraine short," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on its website on Tuesday.
