Gazprom has received instructions to resume gas transit on all routes and in full, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said after signing documents on gas supply and transit.
Putin said he hoped transit of Russian gas to Europe would resume shortly.
"Intense negotiations have produced agreements on the whole range of issues related to gas supply to Ukraine and natural gas transit to Europe - primarily the resumption of gas transit to Europe. I expect full supplies to be restored soon," Putin said.
"Gazprom received instructions to start pumping gas along all routes suggested by our Ukrainian partner and in full, and it is ready to meet daily orders by European consumers," Putin said.
