Batkivschyna Party has already filed several thousand appeals against the election results at some areas, said the first deputy leader of the party, Oleksandr Turchynov.
"Today I have already been informed that several thousand lawsuits challenging the legitimacy of elections at some areas are already in progress," Turchynov said on Channel 5 on Monday night.
In his words, it is very difficult to challenge tens of thousands of violations. "But the process continues," he said.
Turchynov noted that the current law on local elections does not allow appealing against the returns of the election as a whole; only election results in some areas may be challenged in courts.
